HOME & SCHOOL CORNER

Wolfville School L.I.F.E.

L.I.F.E., or ‘Learning Is For Everyone’, is a belief held by the Wolfville Home and School, as well as School administration and staff.   In support of Wolfville School L.I.F.E. we are establishing a benevolent fund to be used to address specific student needs related to learning.

Wolfville School L.I.F.E. supports the principle that all students should have the opportunity to participate fully in the public school experience and the accompanying school-based activities.  The benevolent fund may be used in support of our philosophy that “No Student Should Go Hungry”, our “No-Cut Policy” for sports teams or to ensure that no student is prevented from participating fully in their class or school-based experience because they don’t have the proper supplies or necessary resources.  There are many situations that stand in the way of a student having a positive school experience.  The details of each student’s situation are private, often known only to a close teacher or the principal.  However, in some cases, financial support can alleviate some of these students’ barriers to enjoying a positive and fulfilling learning experience.

School budgets are limited.  As a result, schools cannot meet the needs of all students.  Through the generous financial support of local businesses and residents we can better meet the needs of our students.

With Thanks
Wolfville School extends a sincere thank you to Brian Veale and the staff at Rafuse Home Hardware for their generous contribution to Wolfville School L.I.F.E.  The money will be used to make a difference in the school life of a student and is truly appreciated.   Thank you!

All meetings will be held at 7:00 pm in the Family Studies room unless otherwise noted.

All parents, students and staff are invited to attend.
