Principal's Message

Let me take this opportunity to introduce you to Wolfville School and all of the wonderful educational opportunities we provide.

Wolfville School is a primary to grade eight public school with an incredibly successful history and tradition. The original structure was located on the current playground at the corner of Highland Avenue and Acadia Street, and dates back to 1864. Today we are a dynamic community of approximately three hundred and twenty-five students and approximately forty teaching and support staff.

Here at Wolfville School, we offer our students core academic, fine arts and athletic programming that is enriched with special courses, extracurricular activities and student leadership opportunities. We strive to support and challenge every student to become a responsible and independent learner, and to achieve his or her academic and personal potential.

Wolfville School is fortunate to have tremendous partnerships with members of our neighbouring community - local residents, businesses, service clubs, the Town of Wolfville and Acadia University staff, faculty and students - who support the success of our students.

I encourage parents and guardians who are part of our school community to be involved in your student's education. Our community boasts strong family support and cooperation which is a huge contributor to our students’ success. Look through their school bag each night, read the notices that come home and ask your student about the many activities going on at school and in their daily life. We look forward to working with our students and their families.

For those who are new to the Wolfville School community, I encourage you to contact either school administrator to arrange for a personal visit to our school for you and your student.

Please explore this website at your leisure. I hope it provides the information you are looking for and helps you become familiar with who we are and what we have to offer. Call any time for an appointment; we’re here to best serve our students and families!
