Wolfville School has a large modern library situated on the first floor of the elementary wing. The library serves as an important supplement to the regular instructional program. Our library-technician assists students with research work, familiarizes students with the organization and use of a library, provides staff with resource materials and encourages reading for both pleasure and information. Wolfville School also has an extensive parent-lending library, which is accessible during school hours.
Due to funding cuts, the library open hours are limited to two and a half days a week as follows:
Tuesday & Wednesday – 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
Thursday – 12:40 - 3:00 pm
Also due to these reduced hours it is important that students return their books on or before the scheduled “library day”.
Wolfville School Library has a partnership with local bookstore, “TheBox of Delights” whereby you may ask to donate book points earned on your purchases to the School Library.
Wolfville School Library Fundraiser in partnership with
The Box of Delights Bookshop, Main Street, Wolfville
Here’s how it works.
(i) Buy local at Box of Delights and they’ll give you points worth 3% of the price of the book.
(ii) Ask, and they will donate these points to Wolfville School Library.
Anyone can donate their points, so spread the word to all the book lovers you know. The more points that are donated, the more books can be purchased for our school library.
